At the age of 20, Jodee Messina went to Nashville in search of a country music career and met Tim McGraw. Tim then teamed up with his own producer, Byron Gallimore, to produce her debut album. She has already toured with McGraw in support of her release and will continue to tour throughout '96. The album's first two singles ("Heads Carolina, Tails California" and "You're Not in Kansas Anymore") both reached Top 10 on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts in 1996; however, "Do You Want to Make Something of It" and "He'd Never Seen Julie Cry" both failed to enter Top 40.
