The Jim Widner Big Band celebrates it's 20th anniversary with a new recording. Out of This World marks the fifth release by this outstanding ensemble. Comprised of 14 horns and a rhythm section, the JWBB never sounded better - "purifying your soul with a righteous wash of sound" to quote Peter Erskine. The program includes the title track Out of This World plus Alone Together, You Must Believe in Spring, Time after Time, When You're Smiling, I Can't Get Started and three originals.
