Isaiah Ben Emanuel was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. His passion for music became evident at an early age. He began studying piano at age seven which landed him a spot playing French Canadian ' hoe down' music in the family band on many festive occasions until the wee hours of the morning. In the sixth grade Isaiah sung his way into the leading role of the 'Prince' in the operetta 'Kathleen'. It wasn't until University that Isaiah performed in public again, this time singing and playing keyboards for a cover tune band called 'Indecision', which later changed it's name to 'Between Days'. They toured throughout Alberta and gained a loyal following. Isaiah left the band to pursue a career in medicine, but his passion for music continued. In 1992, he moved to Vancouver where he joined the Vancouver Men's Chorus, later the Singspiration Singers and most recently the Good Noise Vancouver Gospel Choir. During this period he developed a deep yearning to understand himself and life which led him on a profound spiritual quest. He began writing and composing songs that inspire and uplift. His debut CD 'Love Ray', is a musical reflection of his spiritual journey, self discovery and expression.
