The South Carolina death metalcore crew didn't do much to distinguish themselves on 2005's Sounds of the Underground-ready Bloodlust, but this is the polar opposite of a sophomore slump. After enlisting dynamic gurgler Nate Johnson and death metal studio god Erik Rutan (he of Hate Eternal) to produce, Malice is one of the most anticipated extreme efforts of the summer, rife with catastrophic dual riffing and punishing blast beats
